This week was a grab bag of exploring Greensock: https://observablehq.com/@koffeeya/exploring-animation
Since I am thinking about doing a scrolly project, I tried to use Scrollama with vuejs and d3js: https://nedjaem.github.io/med-migration/
This is exceptionally boring. I wanted to figure out how to use API keys and secrets in observable notebooks. I also learned how to use the NYT public APIs.

note: I still am not very good with them, but I understand more.
Played a little with leaflet.js and my project data for this prototype! I wanted to figure out what a zip code map would look like and see if it was actually a viable option for my project, and ended up with a way better understanding of my data than I had previously. https://observablehq.com/d/fd0ab7865ffbaadc
After weeks of data frustration trying to do what’s SO easy in NLTK! I made a dispersion plot of word occurrences in Invisible Man. It’s still ugly, but the data is in a good spot and the chart works:

Still need to work on panning with this map.
